大学卒業後は大手家電メーカーに勤務。外資系広告代理店を経て独立。2000年からは飲食店を経営。「西麻布 壌」は立ち飲みブームのきっかけをつくり、高級とんかつ専門店「とんかつ 西麻布 豚組」(2005年)、高級豚しゃぶ店「豚組 しゃぶ庵」(2007年)では、Twitterを活用した集客が評価され、「外食アワード2010」(外食産業記者会)を受賞。2011年には食の写真投稿アプリ「ミイル」をリリース。飲食店経営の経験から予約と台帳の管理のデジタル化を構想して、2013年7月に株式会社トレタを創業。
外食産業の未来とITを考えるイベント「FOODIT TOKYO」を企画、実行委員長を務める。2018年11月「無断キャンセル対策推進協議会」を立ち上げ、理事長に就任。
著書に「外食逆襲論」(幻冬舎/2019年10月出版)がある。
 
Graduated from Rikkyo University in March 1992; Worked for a major electronics appliances manufacture after graduating from the university and then made a career move to a foreign-affiliated PR firm before starting his own business; Has been running restaurants since 2000; Received a “2010 Eating-Out Award” (Eating-Out Industry Reporter Association) for creating the standing bar boom with “Nishiazabu Jyo” and for attracting guests using Twitter with a pork cutlet specialty restaurant - “Tonkatsu Nishiazabu Butagumi” (2005) and a high-grade pork shabu shabu restaurant - “Butagumi Shabuan”  (2007); Released a food photograph posting app - “miil ” in 2011; Established Toreta, Inc. in July 2013  under the concept of the digitalized management of reservation and ledger from his experiences of running restaurants; Designed and served as the executive committee leader of “FOODIT TOKYO” - an event for viewing the future of the eating-out industry and IT; Launched  “No Show Countermeasure Promotion Committee” in November 2018 and assumed as its head director; and wrote “Restaurant Survival Theory (Gaishoku-Gyakusyu-Ron) ” (published by Gentosha Inc. in October 2019).
