77年、同志社大学法学部卒、不二製油に入社。99年、新素材事業部長兼新素材販売部長、01年、食品機能剤事業部長を経て、06年に不二製油（張家港）有限公司董事長。09年、常務取締役、12年、専務取締役、13年より現職。
 
After graduating from Doshisha University with a degree in law in 1977, he joined Fuji Oil. Since 1999, he worked as General Manager of the New Materials Division and General Manager of the New Materials Sales Division, and since 2001, as General Manager of the Food Functional Agent Division, since 2006, as Board Chairman in Fuji Oil (Zhangjiagang), since 2009, worked as Managing Director, since 2012, Senior Managing Director, and since 2013 in his current position.
