バリュークリエイト代表取締役。1987年野村證券グループ入社、以後1989年に同社証券アナリスト。日経金融新聞（現日経ヴェリタス）アナリストランキングでは、29歳で企業総合部門1位（1995年）、1994～2000年造船・プラント部門7年連続第1位。2000年、IT業界に特化した投資調査会社で調査部長。2001年5月日米公認会計士の三冨正博とバリュークリエイト設立。東京理科大MOT非常勤講師、デジタルハリウッド大学でコーポレート・コミュニケーション論准教授、海外資産運用会社、レオス・キャピタルワークス、長期投資のコモンズ投信取締役などの社外取締役を経験。複数のベンチャーキャピタルのGP、海外のベンチャーキャピタルのベンチャーパートナー。富士製薬工業（東証1部）社外監査役現在、ローソン調査部長などを経験、数社のCEOのアドバイザー、丸井、味の素の調査部長、CVC活動支援、ソケッツ（東証2部）の社外取締役を務める。
 
He joined the Nomura Securities Group in 1987 and became a securities analyst at Nomura Securities in 1989.In the Nikkei Financial Daily (now Nikkei Veritas) analyst rankings, he was ranked first in the overall corporate category at age 29 (1995) and first in the shipbuilding and plant category from 1994-2000 for seven consecutive years.
In 2000, he became the head of research at an investment research firm specializing in the IT industry. In May 2001, he founded Value Create, Inc. with Masahiro Mitomi, a Japanese and American CPA. He is an adjunct lecturer at the Tokyo University of Science Graduate School (MOT) and was an Associate Professor of Corporate Communication at Digital Hollywood University, and has served as an outside director of Leos Capital Works Corporation, an overseas asset management company, and as a director of the long-term investment firm Commons Investment Trust. He is GP of several venture capital and venture partner of overseas VC. He was outside auditor& supervisory board member of Fuji Pharma( TSE 1st section) and director of research at Lawson and he is advisor of CEOs and director of research of several companies such as Marui, Ajinomoto and currently an outside director of Sockets, Inc. (TSE 2nd section).
