ベン・ハリスはDropのCEO兼共同創設者であり、Dropはレシピとキッチン家電テクノロジーに特化したスマートキッチンプラットフォームで、料理のジャーニー全体をつなぐ体験を提供している。彼はDropを通じより良い料理を作れるように、家庭での料理体験の向上を目指している。現在、既に様々なブランド（Bosch、Electrolux、GE Appliances、Instant Brands、Panasonic、Kenwood、LG Electronics、Thermomix等）の100を超えるモデルの家電を、DropのキッチンOSプラットフォームとその基にあるDropレシピアプリからコントロールできる機能を実装。
彼は、姿勢管理製品のグローバルリーダーであるLackeyで工業デザイナーとしての地位を確立した後、ダブリンを拠点とする製品設計コンサルタント会社White Zebra Studiosを設立。この会社は、初年度にアイルランドのデザイナー協会から表彰された。さらに、後に、Dropでの仕事を評価されアイルランドのEYアントレプレナーオブザイヤーにもノミネートされた。
彼は2児の父親として、ダブリンとサンフランシスコを行き来している。
 
Ben Harris is the CEO and co-founder of Drop, the leading smart kitchen platform specializing in recipe and kitchen appliance technology to connect the whole cooking journey. Ben co-founded Drop to empower people to make better food at home. Today, over 100 different appliance models from brands like Bosch, Electrolux, GE Appliances, Instant Brands, Panasonic, Kenwood, LG Electronics and Thermomix can be controlled from the Drop KitchenOS platform and the Drop Recipes app at the center of it all.  Ben first made his mark as an industrial designer at Lackey, a global leader in postural management products, before establishing Dublin-based product design consultancy White Zebra Studios, which was honored by the Institute of Designers in Ireland in its very first year. Ben was later nominated for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in Ireland for his work with Drop. Ben, a father of two, shares his time between Dublin and San Francisco.
