大学卒業後、株式会社京都吉兆に入社。修業の後「日本料理銭屋」に戻り二代目主人となる。2008年ニューヨーク日本総領事公邸での晩餐会で料理を担当したのをきっかけに海外での活動の場が広がる。現在、日本料理を世界に普及・発展させるべく、世界中での幅広い活動や、外国人シェフの研修生を受け入れて指導にあたる。農林水産省より2015年「第6回料理マスターズ」を受賞、2017年「日本食普及の親善大使」に任命される。
 
After graduating from university, Shinichiro joined Japanese cuisine restaurant chain KYOTO KITCHO. After training, he returned to ZENIYA and became the 2nd master. After being in charge of cooking at the dinner party at the Japanese Consul-General's residence in New York, 2008, his opportunities for global activities have expanded.
Currently, engages in various activities all over the world and teaches chefs from foreign countries, and aims to expand and develop Japanese cuisine all over the world. Has received the award of "Culinary Masters" from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 2015, and was appointed as "Goodwill Ambassador for Japanese Food Promotion" in 2017.
