Catherineは米国フードテックメディアである“The Spoon”にて代替プロテイン、フードロス、CBD(=カンナビジオール)を専門として担当し、各週「フューチャー・フード・ニュースレター」を執筆。“The Spoon”に参画する以前はフードライター、レシピテスター、ベーカー、バリスタ、農家、シェフ見習いとして経験を積む。細胞培養肉についての人々の知覚に関する論文を執筆し、ロンドン大学東洋アフリカ学院 食社会人類学の修士号を取得。唯一の嫌いな食べ物はオリーブである。
 
Catherine covers alternative proteins, food waste, and CBD for The Spoon and writes the weekly Future Food newsletter. Before joining the Spoon Catherine worked as a food writer, recipe tester, baker, barista, farmer, and prep cook. She has a Masters in Food Anthropology from the University of London, SOAS where she wrote her dissertation on public perceptions of cell-based meat. There’s only one food she hates: olives.
